About Us
Welcome to the new website for Cambridge Sport Network, the new community sport network for Cambridge city. We hope that you find the site informative about opportunities to become more active in your local area.
The community sport network has been in existence since the summer of 2007, giving you the opportunity to shape the direction of sport and physical activity.
We are working in partnership with clubs, coaches, volunteers, national governing bodies, schools, facilities, Living Sport and Cambridge City Council Sports Development Service.

What does the CSN do?
A CSN is a network of local deliverers from a range of organisations all with a contribution to make to the delivery of sport in Cambridge.
It is responsible for identifying local priorities and appropriate initiatives to increase numbers of people taking part in sport and active recreation.
Purpose and vision of the CSN
The purpose of the CSN is to work co-operatively with the CSP (County Sports Partnership) in order to increase participation in sport and physical activity and widen access to opportunities throughout Cambridge city.
"The CSN mission is to consolidate existing sport and physical activity provision and develop new opportunities to enable the people of Cambridge city to enjoy the benefits of leading a physically active life. It exists, to bring together under a common purpose, all agencies involved in providing opportunities for sport and physical activity within the city".
